Circa 1880-1900, This lovely table runner has shaped vignettes filled with Appenzell whitework embroidery. It is a winter woodland scene, some images are of a child feeding animals, the deer while others are of three men sitting in the first observing the deer in the woods. Measuring approx.43” by almost 30” at widest part.In very good condition.The Appenzell work is extremely good as is the Drawnwork.This item seems unused.
