CIRCA 1880-1900, EDWARDIAN ERA,LARGE SILK MALTESE LACE LAPPET. Edwardian era hand made Maltese lace lappets. Lappets like this were fashionable at the end of the 1800-early 1900's. They were worn over coats or dresses or even used around hats and tied around the neckline wiht a large bow. Measuring approx. 93" by 8 1/2" at widest part. In good strong condition.
