CIRCA 1700, SUPERB VALENCIENNE LACE BORDER. Quite a exquisite piece of lace! The design is truly beautiful and of course the workmanship is so very excellent. The design flows and is quite wonderful , it has elongated meandering leaves ,and intricate large florals with a abundance of tiny assorted fillings. The linen flax is light in the hand.Measuring approx.25" by 3" wide. In good strong condition. A stunning piece for the early lace collector.
