EARLY LINEN TABLE RUNNER WITH RETICELLA LACE. There is so much fine work on this rare linen table runner. The lace is so cold to the touch because of the fine flax thread that was used. Over the centuries and because of climatic changes, linen thread became much warmer to the touch. This runner has different Reticella designs and deep scalloped edges all around. Measuring approx. 35" by approx 22-23" wide. This item came from the "Grand Maison De Blanc" early collection of laces.
