CIRCA 1700, EXQUISITE FRENCH NEEDLE LACE. This is such a beautiful example, not only is the workmanship superb but the design is quite wonderful. One of my favorite pieces, part of a original lace collection that originated in Paris. Measuring approx. 8 3/4" by almost 3 1/2"wide.The undulating vine and large florals in this design are so pleasant to the eye and the lacework is of course wonderful.In good condition, the lace retains its original cream patina.
