FINE FRENCH BROCADE PURSE W/EMBROIDERED LIONS,METALLIC EMBROIDERY. Quite a beautiful design and superior workmanship on this lovely purse. There is polychrome silk embroidered lions and ornate scrollwork with beautiful stitching and metallic embroidery throughout the purse with scattered tiny pearls throughout the design. There seems to be stones like Connelian? Jade? stones. The main stone seems to be Cornelian? , I am not sure about the other stones.The lining has some minor wear and it shows use. The outside of the purse is in very good strong condition, perhaps a few very minor loose threads. Measuring approx. approx. 7" by 5". The design is quite royal , those heraldic lions are superb, the tiny fillings on this purse are quite remarkable. Embroideres would be quite happy with this work! It is quite superb.
