EXQUISITE AND RARE CHANTILLY LACE PARASOL COVER W/CHERUBS,BIRDS,FLORALS. A wonderful Chantilly lace parasol with such a rare design. The center has a large starburst and the surrounding design is quite superb . There are playful cherubim ,birds , butterflies sitting among pastoral scenes and large oval vignettes filled with overflowing flower baskets and musical instruments. The cherubim and surrounding scenes all have shading in the designs. There are ornate columns leading up to the center of the starburst. The cover measures approx. 27".There is a parasol separate from this.I can send if desired or send a picture. In mainly good strong condition, but there are some small openings, and a couple of repairs near edge, overall minor in comparison to how rare the item is. The design is quite superb!
