EXQUISITE LONG EMBROIDERED SCALLOPED BORDER WITH FLORALS. Quite a amazing piece in every respect! This came from the collection of the Grande Maison. Measuring 114 1/2" by almost 9" wide, 290cm by 23cm. The item was never used. The embroidery is quite astonishing... this is simply perfection.. both in design and workmanship. I am not sure where this was made, perhaps Italy? the raised satin stitch embroidery is a work of art and the design has undulating vines , florals with intricate various fillings. A beautiful piece!
