DECORATIVE CUSHION TOP W/APPENZELL,BRUSSELS LACE, ETC. Excellent whitework embroidery on this heart shaped cushion top.The composite work has fine raised satin stitch embroidery surround two needle lace vignettes filled with a portrait of a Roman? lady and gentleman.There is Irish Crochet, Brussels lace and Cantu lace. Although mainly in good strong condition, there is some damage and so Cantu lace needs a few attachments on edge and some wear in lawn..overall a pretty item. It is quite ornate and so what I call a busy item.. which always means some work gets hidden because it is so dense with lace.
