CIRCA 1600-1700's, FLEMISH OR ITALIAN LACE BORDER A very good border of Italian or Flemish lace measuring approx. 104" by 3 1/2". A really good example, the lace seems unused and was part of a museum deaccession.There are large central tree? designs with mirror images of flowers on each side. The linen flax is very good and smooth to the touch. In very good condition, the lace seems rarely used and possibly unused.The lace has it's original cream patina.
