CIRCA 16-17TH.CENTURY, FINE INSERTION LACE BORDER. Amazing workmanship on this beautiful border! The linen flax thread is so very fine and the design of course is wonderful. Measuring approx. 10 1/2" by 3 1/2'. The lace came from the Grand Maison collection and is in very good condition, one small spot and one small opening on heading near the edge.The lace has it's original cream patina.
