ELABORATE VENETIAN GROS POINT LACE BORDER. Absolutely superb work on this very beautiful Venetian Gros Point lace. Measuring aprox.17" by 6 to 9" wide..The lace has such wonderful movement in the design and the raised florals are truly superb.There is fine three dimensional cordonet on many of the flowers and leaves. In very good strong condition, some openings but minor compared to the workmanship on this lace. Part of a museum deaccession.
