CIRCA 18THC. MECHLIN LACE BORDER. A lovely design on this Mechlin lace border! The design is quite graceful, with a lovely undulating vine and florals that is quite pleasing to the eye. Measuring approx. 15" by 3 and a bit". In mainly very good strong condition, there are two areas neer heading which might have been attached to a piece of clothing or were perhaps repaired with extra thread. The flax of courses extremely fine, and the lace excels in design and workmanship.The lace has it's original cream patina.
