PRETTY 19THC. BRUSSELS POINT DE GAZE LACE BORDER. Excellent work on this very attractive Brussels Point De Gaze lace. The design is quite ornate and has wonderful large roses with raised three-dimensional petals.Wonderful movement in the design and the tiny fillings are basically a work of art in themselves. Measuring approx.37" by almost 6" wide. In very good strong condition, a few tiny openings.The lace has it's original cream patina and it seems the ground is also hand made.
