CIRCA 19THC.FINE BRUSSELS POINT DE GAZE LACE HANDKERCHIEF. A very fine lawn handkerchief with Brussels Point De Gaze lace measuring approx. 18". In very good strong condition with superb and very fine needle lace.The design has meandering vines, leaves and florals with scattered tiny Point De Esprit throughout the lace. The work is precise and so very well done.This handkerchief seems unused. The lace has it's original cream patina. The linen lawn is quite diaphanous. in all, a beautiful handkerchief for the bride or for collector.
