CIRCA 1920, SUPERB FRENCH NORMANDY LACE TABLE CENTER. Superb design on this lovely French Normandy table center. This is always considered the very best Normandy items made in France during the early 1900's. The lace has a lightness of being , so to speak ..as the whitework embroidery is very fine and delicate and the laces used in the composite pieces are quite ethereal and so very pretty. There are tiny little whitework swags of vines and leaves. Tambour laces, Valencienne and Lille laces used in the piece.Measuring approx. almost 24". This can be made into a beautiful cushion cover. Add silk ribbon rosettes and line with silk or just use as a table center. A lovely piece of Normandy , both in design and workmanship. In good strong condition, lace has it's original patina and seems unused.
