CIRCA 1920, EXQUISITE FRENCH NORMANDY LACE TABLE RUNNER . One of the very best French Normandy lace table runners I have come across. This is a example of the very best Normandy laces made during the 1920's. The lace runner is very light in the hand..meaning they used more exceptional lace pieces like Valenceinne laces, Lille laces, some Brussels Duchesse and Point de Gaze lace and the runner has the most wonderful whitework embroidery on the Fond de Bonet. The whitework embroidery has such delicate designs and has exceptional workmanship. Measuring approx. 39" by almost 18 1/2" wide. This lace seems unused . A beautiful piece for the Normandy lace collector.
