CIRCA 1900's, ELABORATE SILK MALTESE LACE TABLE CENTER. A beautiful hand made silk Maltese lace table center. This kind of quality is the best Maltese lace that was made during the late 19TH- early 1900's. The silk is luminous, the workmanship is excellent. The large Maltese cross at the center is made of fine silk .Measuring approx. 27". In very good strong conditions few small storage spots. This lace was never used it seems. The silk surround has a good weight , again a sign of the better Maltese lace pieces made.
