CIRCA 1700's, EXQUISITE FLEMISH LACE BORDER. A superb border of Flanders or Flemish lace with a wonderful opulent design. there are elegant large florals and leaves with L'Oeil de Perdrix fillings and with a cinq trou or five hole reseau..The design is quite beautiful and the workmanship is exceptional. The flax thread used is superb. Measuring approx. 21" by little over 6" wide.The lace is in very good strong condition,there are a few small MINOR openings. This is a superb lace for the collector.
