CIRCA 18THC. FLEMISH LAPPETS WITH ROSES AND CORNUCOPIAS. A Flemish bobbin lace lappet with large cornucopias with overflowing fruit and roses. Measuring approx. 51" by almost 3" wide. The design is very unusual and fine. The lappet has a repair at the center and some scattered openings.One could remove the center part as it has seams on each edge, it almost seems as if might have been added as a afterthought. Think the lappets should be removed from the center part .
