EXQUISITE 196" FIGURAL ITALIAN TABLECLOTH W/CHERUBS,FLORALS, ANIMALS. Circa 1880-1900.Quite a amazing hand made Italian tablecloth measuring approx. 196" by 70" wide, 497.84cm by 177.8cm with a theme of the Spring or Fall harvest. The center of the cloth has very ornate undulating scrollwork and baskets of overflowing florals and around the center shaped vignettes filled with different scenes.there are winged cherubs fishing, hunting and gathering sheaves of wheat and fruit. Numerous fish and animals are in the design and the scenes connect to a larger oval vignettes with images of a goddess in classical clothes. In very good strong condition, a few tiny spots and openings that are absolutely minor.In very good strong condition.
