CIRCA 1880-1900, EXQUISITE "BELLE EPOQUE " ERA TAMBOUR LACE CURTAINS. Quite a majestic pair of curtains!A absolutely superb example of the very best of Tambour lace curtains, these are so ornate, so dense and entirely covered with beautiful roses, large scale leaves, scrollwork etc. The large flowers have satin stitched padding and are raised. Basically the curtains are quite amazing, I don't think I have seen such a beautiful pair of Tambour curtains in forty years and certainly not such a pair in this great condition.. Measuring approx. 152-153" by 56" wide for each panel. In very good strong condition.
