CIRCA 1900,ORNATE LADIES TAMBOUR LACE DRESS W/ROSETTES,SILK, RIBBONS. A rare and wonderful dress entirely covered with ornate Tambour lace. There is a silk inner lining with large silk rosettes on each side of the dress and the bottom of the silk is quite amazing as it is all finely pleated. It is rare to find this kind of lace dress ,especially one that has survived in such good condition. This one came from a estate in Connecticut and was perfectly preserved. There is some wear on one of the ribbons which does not detract. In very good strong condition. This is a dress that can be worn or displayed.
