CIRCA 1700-1800,LADIES METALLIC EMBROIDERED KERCHIEF W/SPANGLES.A early kerchief that came from a early museum deaccession measuring approx. 35".
The ornate design is mainly on one side .There is a lovely large flower design with intricate leaves and undulating vines, leaves and florets worked with silver thread and silver spangles and beads. In mainly good strong condition but there are age related stains that need to be seen to.The fabric itself is cotton and has hand made bobbin lace edging all around. A nice piece for the early collector.
