CIRCA 1900's,ORNATE NEEDLE LACE TABLE RUNNER W/FIGURALS AND FESTIVE SCENES. A fine and interesting long Needle lace table runner measuring approx. 124 " By 11". The table runner has numerous ladies , gentlemen , children and architectural elements. There seems to be a noble and his lady dressed in period costume with their hunting dogs enjoying a festive spring scene. there are fine detailed trees, playful dogs, musicians,ladies and gentlemen dancing, sharing drinks. In all, approx. 24 assorted figures., numerous houses, castle?, architectural elements including beer kegs, fences, bridges. This perhaps could be a scene from a hunt.This item was perhaps made for someone in Bavaria, Germany , Austria .In very good condition, one repair and a few age related spots that are minor.
