CIRCA 19THC. ELEGANT FLORAL BRUSSELS LACE WEDDING VEIL.A very beautiful Brussels lace wedding veil that came from a very good collection . The veil has it's original cream patina and seems as if it was never used. Measuring apprx. almost 80", centimeters 203.2cm.. There is a deep floral, vine and leaf design in each corner that measures apprx.19" and then a wide 6" border all around of florals and the veil is scattered throughout with pretty florets. In amazing mint condition, a few scattered storage spots that just need some spot treatment. If a bride wants a white veil, then very hot water soak and suds will bring this up white. Lace was always dipped in a tea infusion to color as harsh dyes were not used and brides during that time mainly wore cream gowns for their weddings. (Item #AL650)
