CIRCA 1780,FINE MUSLIN SHAWL,FISCHU W/TAMBOUR EMBROIDERY.A early white muslin square shawl or large fischu with meandering Tambour embroidery.There is a central medallion and then embroidery all along the edges and also on the fine scalloped edging ruffle. Measuring apprx. 47 by 46".In mainly very good strong condition but there are scattered small openings in embroidery,not sure perhaps when made?also a couple of age spots and a few tiny openings in lace edge.Overall it is surprising how this is in such good strong condition considering how fine and diaphanous the muslin is. So best to see as one could return for refund.Ideal for early costume display .(Item #EI53)
