CIRCA 1770,RARE INFANT'S BIB WITH HOLLIE POINT AND BOBBIN LACE. Exceptional and so RARE! A superb infant's bib with wonderful Hollie Point floral design at the center and surrounded by insertions of whitework embroidery and hand made bobbin lace. The bib has a lovely elongated leaf design in the linen . There are tow narrow ruffles of bobbin lace on each side and then bobbin lace all around the edges and collar. Superb workmanship, beautiful design and so very rare. This comes from a important deaccession and has provenance. Wonderful condition. Please see the other listings from this collection.
