The gown has shirring at the top and on the sleeves, whitework embroidery around the empire line and Tambour work on the edge of the gown. A lovely serpentine design of florals and vines with needle lace fillings.Measuring apprx.27" down the center of the gown.In very good condition, one small spot. this item comes from a early collection of clothing deaccessioned in New England.
