CIRCA 1800, YOUNG GIRL's FINE LAWN EMPIRE GOWN. A lovely ethereal Regency Era gown compose of the finest lawn linen with ruched bodice, puffed sleeves edge with a ruffle and pin tucking. Measuring apprx.33" long.The top of the bodice has a inner lining.this is a charming gown, it is always a delight to see early gowns for children. One repair that is done so well I almost did not see, this is near a seam under the sleeve and so not really as visible, one small opening on the back closure, just needs a couple of stitches to reattach, MINOR.
