CIRCA 18THC.ORNATE MAN'S VELVET COURT COAT W/POLYCHROME SILK EMBROIDERY. Possibly French or Russian,this superb velvet court coat has exquisite embellished embroidery and the design on this coat is quite beautiful . There is such a profuse amount of embroidery,the coat is richly decorated with beautiful floral bouquets,wildflowers and elegant meandering vines . The design and embroidery is quite a work of art! At some point the coat was altered but the overall condition of the coat is quite amazing.There is some natural slight wear , MINOR. Overall strong and in very good condition. (Item #EI49)
