CIRCA 1800, RARE REGENCY ERA LADIES DECORATIVE NANKEEN SHOES.These early shoes seem to be made of Nankeen fabric as opposed to leather and have a stenciled design. The ties might have been added later. The sole is flay but gets slightly wider near the back heel. Measuring apprx.10 1/2-11 inches. There was some kind of trim around the top part of the shoes, this had been removed ,probably due to wear. Overall the shoes are in very good strong condition, they have been worn and inner soles ave marks and there is a area near the back of the shoes, near the heel that has wear, but overall compared to most shoes of this era in very good strong condition.(Item #ALS33)
