CIRCA 1890-1900,ELABORATE CANTON SILK EMBROIDERED SHAWL. A lovely design and rich colors on this hand embroidered piano shawl. Measuring apprx. 65-66" with additional 20" Macrame fringe, apprx. 167.64cm with additional 50.80cm for Macrame fringe. There are large heirloom roses on each corner with a profuse design on meandering vines , florals and leaves weaving their way through the entire shawl.In very good condition, there are a couple of tiny pin dots and tiny spots near edge, one small edge seam near macrame needs a reattachment to Macrame fringe and shawl needs to be cleaned.Overall shawl is strong and in very good condition.(Item #AS75)
