CIRCA 19THC.LOVELY CHILD'S BUSTLE SKIRT,JACKET AND CAPE SHAWL A lovely  ensemble that originally came from a Fashion Institute of Technology deaccession many years ago.The inner label has a code reference and mentions the Traphangen School.The ensemble is made of fine white cotton pique with Drawnwork insertions and with whitework soutash braided embroidery.The jacket has Mother Of Pearl buttons and the jacket can be worn without the cape if desired.A rare set with a wonderful design and beautiful embroidery and the scallops on all the edges are quite lovely . There are two vignettes on the cape with a couple of openings, but overall in very good strong condition.(Item #ACC219)
