CIRCA 1920's,FINE FRENCH NORMANDY BEDSPREAD W/FOND DE BONET.A lovely fine light ivory cream French Normandy bedspread with a excellent design and good workmanship. The Fond De Bonet insertions are quite beautiful and the lace surrounding the design is of a high quality. The wide edging of the bedspread is Tambour lace . Measuring apprx.117" by 74-75" this includes 15" ruffle on four edges. These bedspreads were usually made for four poster beds but they can be used anywhere, tables ,canopies etc.This is a very good example of the Normandy laces made in France during the 1920's. In good condition, seems almost unused.(Item #ALB44)
