CIRCA 1900's,FINE TRANSLUCENT CHILD'S DRESS W/WHITEWORK EMBROIDERY. A lovely dress made of the finest linen lawn with fine Tambour lace whitework embroidery. The bottom of the dress has bands of fine lawn with scattered Point De Esprit alternating with net insertions and then a wide layer of fine lawn embroidery with scalloped edges. The collar attaches around the neckline with tiny lawn covered buttons. There is hemstitching on the shoulders and sleeves with insertions of net in the design while the collar has the whitework design. This dress was put together by hand with excellent workmanship. Measuring apprx.28-28 1/2" from shoulder to hem.In very good condition, one small opening on seam.In very good strong condition.(Item #ACC184)
