CIRCA 1880-1900's,ELABORATE HAND MADE LACE BEDSPREAD W/CHERUBS. A ornate handmade large bedspread which measures apprx 122-123" by 108-110". The large oval has a ornate vase and there are twelve playful cherubs with ribbon floral swags, vines and roses around the vase. The pillow area also has cherubs with floral swags and roses and in the center a large violin in the center of a floral ribbon swag with a large bow at the center of the design.The cherubs are applied on top of the Filet and have whitework embroidery on their faces, bodies and wings . There is also whitework embroidery on the flower swags.A few tiny minor reattachments needed,very minor otherwise the bedspread is in good strong condition. A lovely design on this bedspread and a massive amount of workmanship.(Item #ALB36)
