CIRCA 19THC.RARE MATCHING MOTHER-DAUGHTER WOVEN SILK GAUZE DRESSES. Circa 1890-1900, a rare matching Mother -Daughter woven silk printed gauze dresses with black velvet trim.Part of a museum deaccession, the tow dresses are in mainly very good strong condition.It is rare for this type of fabric to have survived so well.There is damage on the front of the child's dress ,so this part would probably benefit from either fabric taken form inside skirt and add folded seams or repair as best one can and add lace collar.Please email for photos and details.The ladies bodice at the back neckline also has some damage but overall I have tested this very carefully and the outfits are in good strong condition.(Item #)
