CIRCA 1810,LOVELY EMBROIDERED METALLIC LADIES REGENCY RETICULE PURSE.A fine Regency ladies embroidered reticule purse with a lovely design. A large central rose,florals and leaves at the front with metallic leaf design at the bottom of the reticule. The design on the back of the purse is of a strawberry field with metallic embroidered leaf trellis design on the bottom of the purse.Measuring apprx. 8 1/2" by 6 1/2" at widest part.The purse has a delicate inner silk lining and the reticule seems to have original braid drawstring.In very good condition, one small opening at the back of reticule.Part of a collection from a museum deaccession.
