CIRCA 19THC.BRUSSELS POINT DE GAZE LACE FLOUNCE.Circa 1800's, a beautiful flounce of Brussels Point De Gaze lace.Excellent workmanship has been combined with a fine gentle design of flower swags, elaborate scrollwork,large floral and leaf bouquets.There are intricate heart designs,floral vines and swags and hanging tendrils at the top of lace and numerous Needlepoint fillings in the design with added scattered fine Point De Esprit throughout the handmade ground.A beautiful design! In very good condition, with original color.Lace seems unused or rarely used.There are a few very small openings in ground .Minor as lace is in very good condition.
