CIRCA 18THC.MAN'S WAISTCOAT W/CHINA RIBBON EMBROIDERY. Circa late 18ThC. a gentleman's silk waistcoat with velvet china silk embroidery..The floral and leaf design is extremely attractive, the embroidery worked in delicate shades of maroon, light aubergine and moss green.The back of the waistcoat is linen . The waistcoat is in good strong condition, there is some fraying at the bottom of the inner silk lining and a wear area on back of linen. the waistcoat has age stains and would have to be cleaned .
