EARLY 1800's,EMBROIDERED SILK WAISTCOAT FOR CHILD,YOUNG BOY.A small early silk waistcoat that seems as if it was for a young boy with ornate polychrome silk embroidery.A enchanting design with superb embroidery,small scattered florets and what seems like tiny Dragonflies.A ornate collar ,front edges and pockets and there are tiny brass engraved buttons down the front of the waistcoat.The back of the waistcoat is linen and has two ties.Some age wear and age spots,but overall good strong condition. The embroidery is quite superb,the silk embroidery has a luminous sheen.(Item #EI26)
