CIRCA 1820's,ALENCON LACE W/BASKETS,FLOWERS,BOWS.Circa 1820's, a rare design on this fine Alencon lace measuring apprx. 179" by 2 3/4",450 cm by 7cm wide.A lovely design with flower swags and overflowing baskets of flowers and bows.Elaborate scrollwork and leaf design with numerous Needlepoint fillings.In mainly good strong condition, there are some scattered age stains and openings.The lace has original patina and needs to be laundered.A very rare design on this Alencon lace,considered a "winter lace "during the 1800's.(Item #AL307)
