CIRCA 1700's,SILK APRON W/POLYCHROME SILK/METALLIC THREAD.A luminous blue silk ladies apron with a ornate design of florals,poppies, carnations,,tulips and other flowers.the design has meandering vines and and floral bouquets all worked with polychrome silk thread and enhanced with metallic floral decorations.Measuring apprx. 33" by 20".there are some period mends,small holes and splits due to age but basically in good strong overall condition.
