ALENCON LACE W/BASKETS,FLOWERS,BOWS.Measuring 324" by 6" wide...823cm by 15.2cm, a amazing flounce of rare Alencon lace with a design of flower swags, baskets overflowing with flowers which are held aloft by pretty bows.A scalloped leaf design on the edges with scrollwork and numerous tiny Needlepoint fillings.(In almost 40 years of selling , I have not come across such a flounce of Alencon lace with such a rare design , fine workmanship and especially the length and width.In very good condition, there are joins in this lace..still a wonderful example of rare Alencon lace, Museum worthy!( Item #AL308)
