A pretty and ethereal Brussels lace flounce made of Bobbin and Needlace.Measuring apprx. 94" by almost 22" wide....238.76cm by 55.88cm.A lovely graceful design with ornate flower swags surrounding the central floral designs of roses, florals and leaves .There are dainty floral vignettes althernating between the large bouquets and scrollwork and there are delicate leaves along the scalloped edges.The scattered gentle design of Point De Esprit adds to the ethereal quality of the flounce. In very good condition, there is some scattered damage near the top heading but this is the part that would be attached into a item of clothing.The lace is good and strong and has it's original patina.(Item #AL255)
