AEMILIA ARS RETICELLA PILLOW COVER. This is possibly a pillow cover produced by the Aemilia Ars lacemakers. Fine intricate designs throughout the cover with lace insertion in the linen at the back. The Aemilia Ars society was founded in the 19THC. and many of their designs were influenced by early 16th-17thc. lace designs.Measuring apprx. 17 1/2" by 13". In mainly good strong condition, the back linen has some darker age spots. The item has not been washed so will need spot treatment and a soak. (Item #ALS43)
