STUNNING 19THC.BRUSSELS LACE FLOUNCE W/TULIPS,ROSES. Circa 1860, a exquisite flounce of Brussels lace! This flounce is eloquent, the prowess of the lacemakers "sing" out to us. The designer would have been a master in the lace trade and probably worked for one of the very best lace firms in Brussels. The design of large bows, swags, tulips, gorgeous roses hydrangeas,lilies ,meandering vines,leaves and scrollwork are quite magnificent. This came form a estate that included a Worth dress and actually had a US Customs In Bond metal tag that was needed when it was imported from Belgium.
