MAGNIFICENT BRUSSELS LACE "LILY VEIL"W/PROVENANCE. A museum piece , RARE and WONDERFUL! Circa 1860's, this gorgeous wedding veil was said to have belonged to a Russian Count. Many fine lace items were sold during the early 1900's due to the troubles the Royalty were experiencing in Russia .This apparently was sold by the Russian Count to Marian Powys and then made it's way into a museum collection.Measuring apprx. 119" by 102". In very good condition, there are a few professional repairs done in the time, overall on such a important and rare veil, I consider minor. The design of large lilies, the scale and workmanship and provenance make this wedding veil MUSEUM QUALITY. (Item #ALV601)
