LOVELY 19THC CHRISTENING GOWN . Excellent linen on this gown, with a very pretty bodice. Broderie Anglais, fine feather stitch embroidery and ruffles of narrow Valencienne lace from a nice design on the bodice. There are three dimensional deep scalloped ruffles that decorate the top part of the sleeves , feather sttiching embroidery around the waistline and pin-tucking and Broderie insertion at the bottom of the gown.In mainly very good strong condition but there is one small tear where someone has used a patch . Personally think this can be done in a much better way. Well worth repairing as the gown is very pretty and strong.(Item #ACC103)
